Someone has to go.The Warriors cost too much and won too little to run back the entire roster again in 2023-24.So who’s going to be shown the door this summer?I know we’re all thinking the same thing.Jordan Poole’s playoffs were a disaster. His regular season wasn’t much better. This past offseason, the Warriors bet $128 million that Poole would be an elite sixth man, but with that four-year extension poised to start his upcoming season, the deal he signed looks more like hush money following Draymond Green’s punch of the guard.Warriors coach Steve Kerr said this week that he still believes Poole is a foundational player on this team, but did he seem “foundational” in the postseason, when his scoring prowess was needed? He averaged 8.3 points per game in the playoff series with the Lakers.“The playoffs are nothing like the regular season. They are two completely different sports,” Warriors president of basketball operations (for...Harry and Meghan to share paparazzi footage with NYPD as critics say they exaggerated ‘near-castrophic care chase’: report

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, facing accusations that they exaggerated their tense experience with paparazzi Tuesday night for publicity and sympathy, will reportedly let New York City police see video footage Harry recorded during their experience, in order to bolster their claim that they were involved in “a near-catastrophic” two-hour car chase. These accusations against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex came in the aftermath of their statement early Wednesday that they were “relentlessly” pursued through the streets of New York City by “a ring of highly aggressive photographers,” who they say caused “multiple near collisions” with other drivers, pedestrians and two NYPD officers.NEW YORK, NEW YORK – MAY 16: Woman of Vision Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex speaks onstage during the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Awards: Celebrating Generations of Progress & Power at Ziegfeld Ballroom on May 16, 2023 in New York City. MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire teenager has been ordered to write a 3,000-word essay discussing “the impact of racism and racist speech on society” after a judge found that he violated the state’s civil rights act by carving graffiti inside a high school bathroom directed at a Black teen.In the order filed Wednesday, the judge said the 17-year-old must also do 100 hours of community service to avoid a $3,500 fine. He also was forbidden from engaging in or threatening physical force or violence against the victim and his family, or anyone else, or damage or trespass on their property. His lawyer did not respond to a message seeking comment. Prosecutors had asked for a $5,000 fine, the maximum penalty. Judge Amy Messer found that the teen carved “Blacks stand no chance,” and part of “KKK” on a bathroom stall at John Stark Regional High School in Weare in April 2022. NEW YORK (AP) — Veteran correspondent Christiane Amanpour became the first CNN journalist to publicly criticize her network for airing last week’s town hall with former President Donald Trump.Amanpour told a group of graduating students at Columbia University’s graduate school of journalism on Wednesday that she would have “dropped the mic at ‘nasty person,’” a reference to when Trump lobbed that insult at moderator Kaitlan Collins.CNN was criticized for hosting Trump at a live event in New Hampshire, where the 2024 presidential candidate repeated lies about the last election before a mostly adoring audience. CNN Chairman Chris Licht has defended the town hall as newsworthy and important, and Amanpour said she had a “robust discussion” with him about it.Everyone knows Trump tries to seize the stage and dominate at such events, said Amanpour, the chief international correspondent who has worked at CNN for 40 years.“No matter how much flak the moderator tries to aim at the...Walmart shines in rough retail environment, ratchets up outlook after strong first quarter
